There is a patisserie across the street from the back entrance of Cour Damoye, at the corner of Rue Daval and Rue de la Roquette, where bread, croissants, pastries and sandwiches are sold even on Sundays.  One block further away, on the corner where Rue Saint Sabin meets Rue Sedaine, a beautiful boulangerie called Bécaert sells gorgeous and delicious works of edible art.  Be sure to visit the wonderful  neighborhood chocolate shop, La Petite Fabrique, on Rue Saint Sabin, where the chocolates are made on site!
