Getting around town is easy since the Bastille is at the center of a major transportation hub, where three Métro lines (1, 5 and 8) cross at the Bastille station. Place de la Bastille is one of the city's busiest traffic circles, serving as the confluence for thirteen different streets: Boulevards de la Bastille, Bourdon, Henri IV, Beaumarchais, and Richard Lenoir; Rues de la Bastille, de la Roquette, du Faubourg Saint-Antoine, de Charenton, de Lyon, and Saint-Antoine; Cour Damoye and Passage du Cheval Blanc. The apartment is on the edge of the Marais, with its enchanting parks and museums. It is a short walk to Île Saint Louis and Notre Dame and a short Metro ride to the Louvre.
